On-campus housing will be located in one of several different campus residence halls. At this point, Clown Camp® has not been assigned specific units for our usage. Your housing assignment will be sent to you around April 15th. You can download the Viterbo Campus Map. On this map all of the residence halls are shown in blue. They basically all surround the Student Union, identified as #17. Wherever you are lodged, you will only be a few steps from the dining room.
Participants have two different options to choose from for housing. While both provide double room accommodations, one is an apartment style suite, and the other is a traditional residence hall. Here is the some information for a couple of the buildings:
Rose Terrace is a four-story community that provides co-ed, apartment-style living for 90 students. Four individuals occupy each unit. Each apartment unit has two bedrooms, a living/dining area, private bathroom, air-conditioning, a kitchen with a sink, stove, and refrigerator. The apartment unit comes furnished with a dining room table set, couch, chairs, dressers, desks, and bunk beds. Each apartment unit has internet access and cable TV. The terrace level has study/programming areas, storage, and laundry facilities.
Bonaventure Hall is an example of the traditional residence hall. This building is a six-story traditional residence hall, which has a capacity to house 200 residents and predominately has first-year students living in it with some upperclassmen. Most of the rooms on each floor have a sink and all of the rooms have internet access and cable TV. The terrace level has laundry facilities and each floor lounge is equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, TV, DVD player, and study space. Bonaventure Hall also has an elevator. The residence hall offers students easy access to the Student Union and the dining facilities since they are connected.
The Student Union is the usual center for campus life. You will find the dining hall located on the second floor. Here massive windows look out on the campus. Food service is an all-you-can eat style of service, with available fast food and traditional service. Vegetarian options are always available and a great salad bar sits in the middle of the room. There is also a pizza bar, and a grill and a breakfast bar. Campus Dining serves many brand name products that you are familiar with:
