The 2009 Featured Clown is Arthur Pedlar

Arthur Pedlar of Southport, England has three of his many clown characters depicted on the 2009 Clown Camp® logo. This internationally famous performer began his career over sixty years ago. He has been inducted into the International Clown Hall of Fame, is a past president of the World Clown Association and has a list of credits and accomplishments that are the envy of any other currently active performer.

Arthur Pedlar is equally talented to entertain an audience of thousands in a theater, provide clown ministry presentations in a church or cathedral, or appear at the bedside of an ailing patient. His musical and physical skills augment his remarkable sense of timing and comedic acts.

Arthur has previously worked at Clown Camp® many times. See and work with Arthur at either the Wisconsin or Florida program.

On stage Arthur often works with his partner, Alan Whiteley. His character, Professor Forte,  is an outstanding keyboard artist who provides music and laughter alongside Arthur. He and Arthur have appeared throughout Europe, as well as in Japan, and Singapore. One of their very special appearances was in the Throne Room of Monte Carlo’s palace for Prince Rainier. Alan will also be working at both the Wisconsin and Florida programs.
